Following the creation of the Central Authority for Adoption in Cote d’Ivoire, Office for the Protection of Children (ACACI), the Ministry of Women, Family and Children Issues requested the U.S. Department of State to inform ASPs that it will be accepting applications from those interested in seeking authorization to provide adoption services in Cote d’Ivoire.
Cote d'Ivoire ratified the Convention on June 11, 2015, and it entered into force on October 1, 2015.
The following information, provided by the Ivoirian Central Authority, is intended to explain the process for seeking authorization in Cote d’Ivoire. ASPs should submit additional questions directly to the Ivoirian Central Authority by email to secretariatacaci@gmail.com, lathmedi@yahoo.fr, or by telephone at 27 22 20 08 27.
Those ASPs interested in applying must submit the following supporting documents attached to its application to the ACACI Secretariat at the Cite SIDECI des Deux Plateaux Villa n°172:
The Adoption Oversight Division in the Office of Children’s Issues can provide an accreditation verification letter to accompany its application. ASPs may email ASPadoption@state.gov to request this official communication.
