At the request of the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the Department provides the following information:

The Permanent Bureau (PB) of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) is now looking to recruit a Consultant specialized in adoption matters and child protection, who will work directly with the Paraguayan authorities for up to 25 days over a period of three months.  Please find here the terms of reference.

The Consultant must have an excellent command of Spanish as well as working knowledge of one of the official languages of the HCCH (preferably English).

The deadline for applications is 23 March 2021, after which time the PB, in coordination with the Central Authority of Paraguay, will select the most qualified applicant. The selected candidate will commence work as soon as possible thereafter.
